Frequently Asked Questions
What makes your items unique?
Our sweaters and the majority of our beanies are hand knit by Taylor with 100% merino wool which is ethically sourced and mulesing-free. The yarn is sourced directly from Peru and Uruguay and hand dyed in small batches making each item one of its own. No two items will ever be the same. Merino Wool is some of the softest, squishiest yarn you will ever feel. What makes this wool so amazing is the fact that it is all-natural, anti itch, moisture wicking, odor resistant, breathable and so much more.

Each jacket and vest is made from a different upcycled material. Each piece of material used has its own story and is one of a kind in every way. Every jacket and vest is made from thrifted, vintage fabric that may be very old or relatively new. Some materials are extra soft while others are still getting broken in. Using these materials gives each jacket and vest its very own quirk about them. Due to these natural differences, you may notice small variations in the feel and appearance of each piece, however that's what gives each piece its own special charm.
Pricing
The pricing for each of my items is determined by the cost of materials used and time spent to make each item. I try to price each item as reasonably as I can.

Beanies are available on my website for purchase daily while they are in stock.

Knit sweaters, handmade jackets and vests will be uploaded the day prior to the shop so you can prepare ahead of time for the pricing, sizing etc.
How to Purchase
Beanies are available on my website for purchase daily while supplies last.

Knit sweater, handmade jackets and vests will be released in small batches called shop drops. This will happen every few weeks - every other month depending on how much stock we have on hand. Each shop drop will be announced on my Instagram with a preview feature of each item the day prior. Each shop drop will go live at a specific time and date which will also be announced on my Instagram in advance. These are all one of kind pieces and I will only have one of each listed. Once they’re sold out, they won’t be restocked. Each shop drop will have a preview available 24 to 48 hours on Instagram before going live on my website. The preview will include pricing, sizes, and measurements so you can plan ahead.
Sizing
For my knit sweaters, handmade jackets and vests, I am currently offering sizes Small through Large but will be looking into adding sizes that will range up to 3XL, depending on the item, at a later time. With my handmade jackets and vests, each item is made from an upcycled blanket, which can sometimes limit me to how much fabric is available to work with, but I will do my best to coordinate other fabrics with these patterns to make it so we have sizes available for everyone!

For my beanies the sizes will be listed within the listing giving approximate length, width and circumference measurements.
Product Care
For all beanies, since they are hand knit and/or crocheted, please spot clean or hand wash and lay flat to dry. If your beanie has a pom, they are removeable and are attached with a button. Remove the pom before you wash then reattach.

For hand knit sweaters, please hand wash ONLY a wool wash (we suggest SOAK which can be purchased on Amazon). Measure your sweaters length and width for the sleeves and body. Fill up a clean sink with cold water. Add about 1 teaspoon of a gentle wool detergent to the water. Place sweater in the soapy water and swirl it around but DO NOT scrub or apply a ton of pressure be very gentle. Too much agitation will cause your sweater to felt. Leave the sweater to soak for 10 minutes. Remove the sweater from the water and squeeze out the excess water lightly, DO NOT twist or wring out the excess water. Lay the sweater on a clean dry towel and roll the sweater start to dry. Lay sweater on a new dry towel on a flat clean surface and leave the sweater to dry completely. You can stretch out your sweater to match the measurements you took before you washed it so it dries out the exact same size. DO NOT put your hand knit sweater in the washer or dryer it will ruin it.

Each jacket and vest is handmade using a combination of vintage fabrics. To preserve the quality, texture, and fit of your item, we recommend that these jackets/vests be either professionally dry cleaned or spot cleaned with a mild soap. This will help keep your piece in the best condition and will help prevent any possible fabric damage, shrinking, warping, etc. that can occur with machine washing and drying.
